Job Title: Process Engineer (IPC 610 & J-STD Certified)

Hourly rate £16.00 – £22.00 p/h DOE

My client is looking to recruit a Process Engineer with IPC standard knowledge to join their engineering team on a ongoing contract basis to support the manufacturing cells within the business.

The company are a market leader in their field, and the company supply many blue-chip companies throughout the world with their parts.

Th main function of the role is to implement, maintain and support the manufacturing processes which will include cable assembly/electronics.

Other duties will include:

• Design and development of specialist production equipment and tooling
• Install material flow principles to lean guidelines
• Create process documentation
• Deal efficiently and effectively with day-to-day technical issues
• Improve processes to deliver LPI targets

Hours of work:

37 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 0700 – 1530 and Friday 0700 – 1200

Skills/Experience required within the role of Process Engineer are:
• Understand and demonstrate capacity and capability of production lines
• IPC-620/ J standard experience for wiring loom/wiring harness manufacture
• Hold a recognised engineering qualification
• Knowledge of manufacturing lean principles
• CAD Experience
