The Opportunity

As the company expands, there is an increasing need for an Accountant who can take ownership of core accounting functions, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strategic insights.
This role goes beyond standard accounting tasks, it’s an opportunity to shape financial processes, provide valuable recommendations, and support the business in making informed decisions. You’ll be part of a dynamic team where your expertise will be recognised, and your contributions will make a real impact.
Additionally, with company processes evolving while SAP remains unchanged, there is a strong need for someone who can implement and develop structured financial processes, support the business in becoming more routine-based, streamline operations, and integrate process changes effectively. Your ability to bridge the gap between current systems and evolving workflows will be essential in driving efficiency and consistency across the organisation.
Responsibilities:
- Experience in an accounting function within a Manufacturing business
- Strong track record working with Fixed Assets, Balance sheets, Journals, Accruals and VAT (Although it’s worth noting this is a well-established process)
- Part Qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or QBE
- Strong collaboration skills, particularly working alongside procurement teams, with the curiosity to challenge and work autonomously
- Strong Excel experience with the ability to analyse data, create reports, and optimise financial processes
The Candidate:
- Experience in an accounting function within a Manufacturing business

Location:
- Wolverton, on-site a minimum of 3 days per week, 2 days remote – to meet business needs
- Contractual hours: 37 hours per week, flexible times, early finish Friday
