Senior Buyer – Littlehampton – £48,000 p/annum
The Role
A Senior Buyer is required to join a growing procurement team at a key manufacturing supplier to heavy engineering industries.
The Senior Buyer is a pivotal role that combines tactical purchasing with strategic supplier development. You will play a key part in improving supplier quality, reducing stock levels, and strengthening our global supply chain.
This position offers the opportunity to influence procurement strategy, engage with international suppliers, and contribute to the success of a business that is expanding into new markets.

Salary
£40,000 – £48,000 dependent on experience
Location & working hours
- Littlehampton – onsite role
- Half day on Friday
Essential Criteria for Senior Buyer
- Proven experience in procurement/buying within aerospace, automotive, defense, or similar engineering-led industries
- Strong understanding of technical drawings, materials, and manufacturing processes.
- Solid MRP experience (advantageous: Microsoft Dynamics 365, SAP, IFS).
- CIPS (L4+)
Desirable
- Exposure to Supplier Quality Assurance (SQA) activities
