    Customer Service Coordinator | Initial 6-Month Contract | Derby | £24.88 per hour

    The Opportunity:

If so, this exciting 6-month contract opportunity with a leading rolling stock overhaul and maintenance business in Doncaster could be the ideal next step for you.

    Our client is a well-established and respected organisation within the rail industry, specialising in the overhaul, maintenance, and upgrade of rolling stock. They play a vital role in ensuring the safety and reliability of train fleets across the UK. This contract role offers a fantastic opportunity to contribute to their ongoing success and gain valuable experience within a dynamic sector.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Provide exceptional customer service and administrative support to both internal and external stakeholders.
    • Proactively review existing order books to ensure accuracy and identify any potential issues or discrepancies.
    • Manage the end-to-end invoicing process, including generating and sending invoices, diligently chasing outstanding payments, and resolving invoice queries in a timely and professional manner.
    • Efficiently organise transport and logistics for the movement of goods and materials as required.

    Candidate Essentials:

    • Proven experience in a customer service and administration focused role.
    • Excellent organisational and time-management skills with a strong attention to detail.
    • Experience in managing invoicing processes, cash collection, and resolving payment queries effectively.
    • Competent in organising transport and logistics arrangements.
    • Proficient in using standard Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).

  • Commissioning Manager

    Commissioning Manager – Up to £60,000 + Company Car/Car Allowance + Hybrid Role

    This company has grown into one of the leading providers of critical power solutions in the UK, serving a wide range of industries, including healthcare, data centres, manufacturing, utilities, and construction. Due to the business growth and their driven mindset, we are on the search for a Commissioning Manager.

    Opportunity:

    The Commissioning Manager is a key figure responsible for overseeing the entire commissioning process of new construction projects, ensuring systems are installed and fully operational before completion. They monitor progress, track milestones, and proactively address delays or issues to maintain project timelines. By coordinating with contractors and adhering to company quality systems such as ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001, the Commissioning Manager ensures compliance and high standards.

    This role involves creating and managing schedules, conducting inspections and tests, and providing regular updates to clients and Project Managers on commissioning activities. They also resolve any on-site challenges, ensuring the final product meets quality requirements. The Commissioning Manager plays a pivotal role in delivering successful project outcomes while supporting overall management objectives.

    Essential Criteria To Secure An Interview:

    • Experience working with Generators and/or Control Pannels in a mechanical environment.
    • Experienced in commissioning coordination and project management.
    • Proficient in MS Office and experienced in project management software.
    • Strong knowledge of quality systems ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001.

    Desirable Criteria:

    • Engineering, construction or related field qualifications, e.g. HNC/HND.

    Working Model:

    Monday – Friday (3-4 days WFH, 1 day in HQ Heanor, Derbyshire or Depot Sites)

    Salary & Package:

    • Up to £69,000 (Company does offer compensation package for candidates from a direct competitor.
