Vulnerability Analyst (Team Lead)

Forces leavers, ex-military personnel or vulnerability specialists with a passion for cyber security required to strengthen defenses in critical UK infrastructure. Extensive training provided.

The Opportunity

This is a unique opportunity on offer to professionals who want to develop their career in cyber security in a forward thinking and proactive team.

Ford & Stanley are partnered with a key player in the Energy Sector. Due to continued growth and demand, they are looking to expand their Cyber Security team to help keep national critical infrastructure secure.

The leadership team place a high value on finding organized and disciplined individuals for their cyber growth plans , and so have focused their search on ex Forces, ex Military and Vulnerability specialists professionals.

The Role

The Vulnerability Analyst will manage the end-to-end remediation process and ensure all security procedures are fully compliant with the wider company framework.

You will manage the remediation team and look to further improve the processes to ensure the company continuously improve their defenses.

You will conduct regular vulnerability scans across the organization’s IT infrastructure and applications using appropriate scanning tools.

You will ensure that vulnerability management processes comply with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards.

  • Offering between £45,000 & £60,000 dependent on level of experience


  • Lancashire offices – Hybrid working (2-3 days onsite per week)
  • More flexibility is on offer as the role progresses

Essential Criteria

  • Military, Forces or Vulnerability background
  • Good understanding of Cyber Security Principles
  • Experience with team and project delivery
  • Desirable – Cyber Quals & Certifications
