The Situation
Ford & Stanley Digital are currently partnered with a world-leading asset monitoring solution provider. Heavily embedded in the railway industry they focus on improving the reliability and availability of trains by fitting specialist Remote Condition Monitoring equipment. The purpose of this equipment is to identify potential problems before they become critical.
Opportunity
The Sales team is looking for a Technical Sales Manager to build on specialist engineering knowledge and take ownership of technical sales. With partnerships across internationally renowned rail businesses, they need a candidate to draw on technical knowledge to identify what equipment would work in the context of the client’s needs and build this into a proposal/package of work. A successful candidate will initially work closely with the engineers to increase their specific product knowledge and receive well-structured training to support their role. The team has ambitious growth plans and a healthy portfolio of work. This is an opportunity for a technical sales professional to join a business on an exciting growth journey.
Skills & Attributes
- Proven sales record in complementary industries including Networking, Telecommunications, RCM, and Onboard electrical systems.
- Engineering HND qualified or higher.
- Railway Experience is highly desirable.
