Rail experienced Quality Engineer required to set up and deliver quality procedures as Loram embark on a brand-new adventure manufacturing for the first time in the UK.

Ford & Stanley – The Rail Recruitment Experts are working in partnership on the search for a Quality Engineer to support the business in a new position with no existing roadmap. The successful candidate will be responsible for the innovation, guidance, and support for the delivery of Loam’s portfolio of new and existing projects.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Support the Project Engineer with the quality requirements for compliant project delivery.
  • Work with the Project Engineer and Procurement to ensure the suppliers and the parts they supply are compliant to the industry standards and design requirements.
  • Support the testing and commissioning of vehicles and sub-system to ensure compliance to the specifications and standards.

The Candidate

The successful candidate needs Quality and Engineering experience within a Rolling Stock environment and able to work effectively on modifications, maintenance and New Build type projects for On Track Machines.
