Ford & Stanley – The Engineering Recruitment Experts are recruiting a Production Manager for a internationally recognised manufacturer.


The Opportunity

Ford & Stanley Recruitment are partnered with an international manufacturing company on their search for a Production Manager.

This is the opportunity to lend a hand and drive continuous improvement out of a site which is already well established and help assist the company with their plans for growth and expansion.


Location (s):

Burton On Trent


Role and Responsibilities:

  • Opportunity to bring in a range of new initiatives that will improve the efficiency of the facility.
  • Offer valuable knowledge and expertise to the production team.
  • Liaise with other departments to ensure deadlines and production schedules are met.
  • Emphasise on lean manufacturing practices.


The Candidate

The ideal candidate will be confident enough to walk into an already successful production facility, with the ability to highlight areas of improvement, introduce new ideas and concepts whilst maintaining the high levels of standards and efficiency already established across the site.




  • Previous experience of leading a low volume, made to order, production/manufacturing facility.
  • Experienced with ERP/MRP systems.   
  • Knowledge of Lean methodologies and 5s.
  • Ability to generate fresh ideas and provide solutions.  




  • IOSH Certification
  • Engineering qualification
