The Opportunity
Ford and Stanley Recruitment are working with a Supply Chain and Product Solution specialist to appoint a Procurement Analyst. With this critical position being vacant, our client is looking for an experienced buyer ERP superuser as soon as possible.
Reporting into the Senior Buyer, the Procurement analyst will assist with the Procurement Transformation project of this leading parts supplier consultancy. Having joined at a time of change for this industry leader, the Procurement Analyst will work with be mentored by Procurement professionals, and potentially have access to impressive opportunity for growth in the future. This position offers the possibility to make a considerable difference for the business in terms of savings and strategic progress. The role will be 50% active buying and 50% working with the systems and conducting data analysis for cost-cutting initiatives.
Location:
Southport
Role and Responsibilities:
- Working with SAP system to carry out in-depth data analysis.
- Creating reports using Power BI.
- General sourcing activities.
- Taking requisition requests.
Essentials
- Experience within an engineering/rail/infrastructure environment.
- Previous experience of Buying/Purchasing.
- SAP advanced skills (preferably a superuser).
- Data Analysis (Excel).
