The Opportunity
Ford & Stanley Recruitment are working with an manufacturer of electrical components on their search for a proactive Planner to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will be a Planner, not a “progress chaser”, and will work with internal departments and external customers/stakeholders to create and manage productions plans.
Working in a business with its own manufacturing plant, machining shop and purchasing department, as well as keeping in touch and providing updates to external stakeholders, the successful candidate will have strong interpersonal skills as they will have to form relationships and work well with a range of people to successfully carry out this role.

Role and Responsibilities:
- Participation in the development of the ERP system allowing for cross function improvement, streamlining of the planning and support function processes.
- Review the sales order book and master production scheduling outputs to ensure alignment with customer requirements, capacity plan and SIOP.
- Responding to changes in customer, supplier, and business requirements and effectively communicating the revised plan.
Essentials
- Experience of Planning within a manufacturing environment
- Experience with ERP systems
- Good Excel skills. Pivot Tables, vLookups etc…
