Ford & Stanley – The Rail Recruitment Experts are recruiting a Lean Practitioner for a Rail components and spares manufacturer.

 

The Opportunity

Ford & Stanley Recruitment are working with a leader in the manufacture of components and spares for the Railway and Rolling Stock on their search for a Lean Practitioner. Working within the manufacturing team, and sharing best practice with the Continuous Improvement Team, the successful candidate will be expected to delve into the existing data to suggest improvements to the existing processes and putting forward Return on Investment business cases.

 

Location (s):

Southport. Travel required to Crewe and Coventry.

 

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Lead improvement activities across agreed projects using the Six Step Methodology
  • Support the implementation of digital innovation through process improvement activity
  • Complete monthly Continuous Improvement performance reports

 

Essentials

 

  • Previous experience in a Continuous Improvement/Lean Practitioner role
  • Experience in a Manufacturing environment
  • Proven record of achievements within Continuous Improvement/Lean

 

Desirable

 

  • SAP Experience
  • Six Sigma certification
