HR Business Partner

The Company & Situation

Ford and Stanley are currently partnered with a £1billion T/O logistics group, who require an HRBP to work at their heavy manufacturing site in Crewe. They are making strides in terms of modernising their approach to business operations, however, the Crewe facility is still on this journey, and therefore require an experienced HRBP to support the general manager in transforming the site. The Crewe plant is highly unionised, and has faced union action this year, so creating change will take time and patience.

The skill set we need is that of a generalist who will build relationships and trust with the site. There is also a small payroll team onsite which is relatively self-sufficient, but still requires a manager to support and will fall under the HRBP’s remit.

The Opportunity

A resilient generalist HRBP required to support the general manager, at a heavily unionised manufacturing facility, charged with driving through sustainable change programs and positively influence the performance of the site. Opportunity to join a highly supportive HR team that supports the wider logistics group. 

Location: Crewe

Criteria

• HRBP level experience in a heavy manufacturing environment
• Experience of working with trade unions
• CIPD L5 qualified (or significant industry experience)
• Highly resilient personality
