Data Insights Manager

Ford & Stanley are currently partnered with one of London’s busiest train operating companies. They are looking to revolutionise how they use data to support their engineering operation and are restructuring the engineering systems team to facilitate this. They are recruiting for a Data Insights Manager who will build a team to provide expert insight from the data generated from the engineering systems.

Opportunity

Our client require a Data Insights Manager, to revolutionise how engineering data is utilised across their Transport Network. This person will be coming into data that’s unorganised and needs to be transformed into credible insights; by doing so this will ultimately help keep downtime to a minimum across their stations.

These insights will help the Engineering Systems Manager make the correct business decisions, contributing to the wider business goal of becoming more efficient and cost-effective. This individual will need to be able to prioritise their workload, dealing with multiple stakeholders at once whilst having the foresight to develop the junior members of the team into the next stages of their career.

Ideal Candidate

· A blend of both technical knowledge and people management skills

· Strong interpersonal skills due to dealing with an array of different stakeholders

· Power user of analytical tools such as Power BI and/or other data modelling tools

· Knowledge of high-level programming languages such as SQL, Python, R or Scala

Location & Working Model

· Central London. Hybrid & Flexible working

Salary

· £50,000 – £60,000 per annum. (Permanent, full time)
