Ford & Stanley Digital are currently working with one of the leading Train Operating Companies in the UK. Due to continued growth in the IT teams, our client is looking to hire a Cyber Security Officer to bolster their in-house technical capabilities.
Working closely across a range of Cyber tools and various IT Teams, you will help the business create a clear cyber security vision and build your knowledge to become a diverse cyber security professional.
You will help maintain systems in line with the wider Information Systems strategy. The Cyber Security Officer role offers the opportunity to gain solid exposure to a range of the latest technologies.
Reporting to the Cyber Security & Compliance Manager, this role will cover multiple areas of security including technical security, data governance, education, training & awareness, policies & standards, projects, audit & regulations, and incident & change management. In addition, you will work with technical stakeholders, including the network team, to support in monitoring and responding to threats.
- Reviewing and assessing the security controls
- Assisting the Cyber Security & Compliance Manager to grow cyber maturity and NIS compliance in line with the business plan.
- Defining, creating, and reviewing the security roadmaps, strategies, and projects.
