Ford & Stanley – The Recruitment Experts are recruiting an Asset Manager for a leading family entertainment company.
The Opportunity
Ford & Stanley Recruitment are working with one of the biggest entertainment companies in the world on their search for an Asset Manager. This hire will play a pivotal role in helping achieve their ambition of elevating the status of one of their resorts to “Mega Resort” status, capitalising on exceptional opportunities through location and nearby transport links to maximise the number of guests they can create memorable and long-lasting memories for.
As an analytical and methodically minded individual, this position will be tasked with improving the reliability of all assets to consistently offer the best experience to all guests of the resort. By mining a plethora of data across all attractions within the resort and looking at root cause analysis for recurring issues; the successful candidate will be emboldened, through working with the wider engineering team, to devise and implement corrective actions geared towards continuous improvement which will be integral to the long-term success of a well-known UK entertainment institution.

Role and Responsibilities:
- Identify, through time and motion studies, resource requirements to maintain the resort assets within relevant standards and to deliver projects.
- Develop accurate reporting tools and dashboards that can be used to ensure a high level of competence and understanding of asset management and performance with both internal and external regulations and trending of faults
- Adopt a continuous improvement mind-set to drive efficiency and bring up the skills and knowledge of the entire technical services team.
The Candidate
With previous experience in an engineering capacity as well as a keen eye for detail, patterns and trends, the successful candidate will be tasked with ensuring a consistent 97% availability across all park attractions.
Working with engineers as well as using data from the park, this candidate will use root cause analysis to make sure the park offers the best possible experience to all guests even in off-peak times.
